Yes yes! Happy Canada Day everyone! Thanks for making last night’s Canada Day Countdown Party at the Horseshoe so successful. We had a great time busting out some new jams and sharing some drinks with you all. We’ll be heading back into the city on July 19th at the Reverb to bust out some jams again, so hope to see you there.
The ‘For Only Me To Know’ Remix contest has come to an end. Thank you very much to everyone who submitted. We had a great time sittin’ back and listening to what you did to our track. We will be posting the winner on MySpace very soon. Stay tuned for that!
Mmmmm mmm mm mm M! It’s summer! Nothing like it. It’s definitely inspiring to not have to wake up and shovel the snow off my car.
Summertime is totally the prime time to check out some rock shows, so hopefully you’ll be doing your rock ‘n’ roll duty and singing some songs with us! Although we might not be playing much, what we do have coming up is pretty special. Please check out the TOUR page or our MySpace for more info on that.
The new record is coming along. One of those things where we’ve written and demoed a bunch of new songs, and kind of now sitting on the ones that we really love and are developing them further. We hope to hit the studio by August - but the keyword here is: HOPE. We’re doing our best and just trying to keep the energy up and the ideas fresh.
Thanks to everyone who came out and sang with us at Johnny B’s on Friday - it was a kick ass show with some great friends. We hope to see you all again soon.
Our Facebook Album Journal on Facebook has been a little stale lately - so my apologies - going to keep that moving, so don’t fret. Peace!
That’s right! You can REMIX ‘For Only Me To Know’ and show us what you got! You have a couple of months, so that’s no excuse to cheap out and say you didn’t have enough time to make it hot! Just click the download button on the sidebar to get all the tracks you need for the REMIX and send to: band@burythebully.com
We will chose a winner and post on our MySpace for all to hear! We can’t wait to see what you come up with.
What is up!?! It’s been a while. Pretty tired right now… but figured we were rockin’ CMW tonight in Toronto and you should know about it! Last minute yada yada yada… last minute for us too! But we’ll be kicking off the festivities (yes…I said festivities) at TATTOO ROCK PARLOUR. It’s gonna be an exciting night and we’ll be busting out some new material to boot! If you can check it out…we hit the stage at 8:30 sharp! It’ll be nice to see you. What else would you be doing on a Wednesday night? Come on now!
But I also come bearing gifts! Right now, indiesolo.com has been nice enough to feature us on the day of the show… and you can download Army of Love the Album version and Acoustic version. Head over there now…and boom! It’s all yours. Indiesolo.com!
See you cats later! We’ll have a treat for you this March Break… its might just start a dance party…
Holy Crap its 2009! Happy-freakin-New Year! We hope everyone enjoyed the holidays, and understand the feeling of that slap-in-the-face-Monday back to work. Bahhh!! We can’t wait for this year - tons of writing going on and we have no idea where its going to go other than into a new record. This is always an exciting process. Stay tuned as we keep you informed of what’s happening on our end and if any suprise shows arise!
In the meantime, we’re always trying to spread the good word about BTB; and thanks to Alan Cross and Explore Music, we were able to spread the word a little further across Canada. Explore Music is a wicked (relatively new) show that gives some insight into some new and current music. If you know Alan Cross, then you know what to expect; a brain full of musical knowledge that keeps you on the edge of your seat. You can check them out at www.exploremusic.com for more info. It airs in Toronto on 102.1 The Edge weekly from 7-7:30. So please check that out! Anywho…’Army of Love’ was featured as one of the ‘5 songs you gotta hear today’ on his show. Here’s the link below:
heyo! what’s goin on? Cala recently had the chance to sit down with the nice people at Toronto Music Scene and chat. To check out the article, just goto torontomusicscene.ca

“go back to where you came from snow! last i checked… no one really invited you!”
sorry… what’s up guys! its been a while since we posted on here… but the bottom line is that we’ve been busy booking some shows for around the holiday season, doing a little basement recording, and talking about when we’ll start writing for the next record. i mean, we’re always writing, but, discussions of what route we wanna take and what we want this next chapter in our band to sound like, has begun! it’s definitely an exciting time.
we can tell you though, that we have been working on two acoustic versions of ‘Army of Love’ and ‘No Gaurantees’ in our jam space just for fun, and we’re toying with the idea of releasing them on MySpace as a free download… so… keep checking back and we’ll keep you posted. something might be up in the next week. ya!
anywho, time to go and find some christmas gifts! ya that’s right… starting now!
