Hey all! We’ll be jamming this Thursday night at The Karma Lounge (a new venue in Oshawa on Simcoe Street where the old Long & McQuade used to be). We be rockin’ some new tunes at 9:15, so we’ll see you there! Can’t wait.

We’re making good progress with the new tunes and we’ll be sharing some samples of demos on our MySpace by the end of the month. Looking forward to sharing that with you all!

Well the writing process has taken a bit of time as the band really wanted to figure out what to focus in on in terms of sound. Currently, we have chosen the tracks and done all the pre-production. So now its just a matter of laying it down. We hope to bang this record out fairly quick so that we maintain a groove within it, plus we’ve been playing many of these songs live for a bit so its pretty straight forward for us. We’re pretty stoked on starting to record and you can expect videos as we go, in and out of the studio. Yeye. So we are still here… playing tunes, itchin’ to start recording, and brainstorming of how we’re going to give this next piece of BTB to you! Thank you everyone for your support throughout this process - we can’t wait to share this next chapter with you.

On Sunday July 19 we will be playing a show in Brantford at Jack Hammers Nightclub.  The show is 19+ and tickets are $10.  All proceeds from this concert will be donated to the Brantford Cancer Society in support of their research.  Tickets can be purchased at Jack Hammers or you can email Katie Colwell @ cynicalandbeautiful17@hotmail.com for more info.

Yes yes! Happy Canada Day everyone! Thanks for making last night’s Canada Day Countdown Party at the Horseshoe so successful. We had a great time busting out some new jams and sharing some drinks with you all. We’ll be heading back into the city on July 19th at the Reverb to bust out some jams again, so hope to see you there.

Mmmmm mmm mm mm M! It’s summer! Nothing like it. It’s definitely inspiring to not have to wake up and shovel the snow off my car.

Summertime is totally the prime time to check out some rock shows, so hopefully you’ll be doing your rock ‘n’ roll duty and singing some songs with us! Although we might not be playing much, what we do have coming up is pretty special. Please check out the TOUR page or our MySpace for more info on that.

The new record is coming along. One of those things where we’ve written and demoed a bunch of new songs, and kind of now sitting on the ones that we really love and are developing them further. We hope to hit the studio by August - but the keyword here is: HOPE. We’re doing our best and just trying to keep the energy up and the ideas fresh.

Thanks to everyone who came out and sang with us at Johnny B’s on Friday - it was a kick ass show with some great friends. We hope to see you all again soon.
